REMI'S KURUN
Kurun (thunder in Breton) is the Norwegian type pleasure cutter designed by Henri Dervin with which Jacques Yves Le Toumelin will sail around the world alone. Once done, he could not separate from Kurun to return to the West Indies
When he decides to put an end to his navigations not resigning himself to parting with it, Kurun is stored in a shed for thirty years. kurun is finally ceded to the city of Le Croisic for a symbolic franc, hoping that he will stay in this port where he was born.
Kurun was restored by Le Toumelin's childhood friends.
Kurun through his story can be seen as a praise of fidelity.
