Maker Faire of Paris welcomed more than 800 participants with highly varied profiles corresponding to the spirit of the movement. There were handymen, inventors, researchers, artists, designers, entrepreneurs, startupers and even dreamers who will maybe work out their projects one day. All these people were there to share their passions.
There were workshops where one could practice sewing, electronic weld, fabric printing, etc.Many stands showed all the applications of 3D impression.Naval model making was at the right place there, given all the knowledge and the creativity this discipline requires.
It was represented by two clubs from the Paris region: the Lafayette model club Mantois and the Model Yacht Club of Paris. Not only did they present boats to explain the genesis of a small-scale model, but also they taught the children to navigate on a pool at their disposal.
