A SUNDAY AT EDGEOF THE MINIMES LAKE
VIDEOS

To gain autonomy, Eric replaced the PM Research 8 cm3 steam engine with the second generation M2B from Microcosm. The result is far from that of the Tenace tug that gave him the first version of this machine and on which I just added pressure springs for the cylinders.

What a beautiful story that of this boat. Gilles restored this schooner built by his father in a weighted pine trunk, a replica of a sailboat owned by his grandfather.

The members of the MYCParis club brought boats of all types, sailboats, steamers, various electric navigators, all controlled radios, to the delight of young and old alike present with us at Lac des Minimes. Also admire the magnificent Estelle II sailboat.

Serge drew the blueprints for this boat, taking inspiration from those created at the time by William Fife. The result is superb and the boat is moving in a breath of wind. The Tenace tug comes to keep him company. Radio controlled electric boats are loaned to young children.

After improving the M2B steam engine from Microcosm, nothing beats a full-scale test on our Lac des Minimes on a beautiful summer day. The latter is perfectly conclusive. The tug can spin at good speed at an operating pressure of 2 bar.
