To finish this beautiful day, all the models paraded around the pond to the satisfaction of the spectators who had come in large numbers in spite of the showers. To note: the fourth place obtained by Jean-Pierre Cusset for his first participation with a boat lent by Raphaël in the more than one meter category.Raphaël finished second in the sprint of the Anton Trophy .
For us, new members of the MYCP, meeting Adrien Sentz, a former member of the club, was a surprise and a pleasure. He built his machine by adding a water pump and created a circuit of condensation of the steam to recycle it, which confers his beautiful steam tug boat RC an autonomy of more than one hour and a half, thanks to two gas tanks.
Every two year, steam boats lovers gather at la Court Roland, in Jouy en Josas (Yvelines), for a competition organized by 2 clubs: the Arc en ciel of Alfortville, and the Model Club of la Court Roland (MCCR) of Vélisy, where steamboats makers from various European countries meet. It is the opportunity for all to exchange tips and ideas, to discover new models and to meet new people. That's how we met Adrien SENTZ, a former member of the MYCP, that all "Steamers” must know. His articles have been published in the French model making magazine MRB.
